Position SummaryTHIS ROLE IS HYBRID TO A CVS CORPORATE LOCATION This role will be a strategic partner for the Business Insights team and operational leaders.
The primary responsibilities of this role will center around the maintenance and innovation of business practices that enhance budgeting exercises for the Workforce Management team, with the intent of supporting leaders to make more informed decisions about their workforce.
A successful candidate will be able to develop strong business relationships with key partners (Operations, Finance, IT, HR) to help leverage and streamline data and reporting processes around labor budgets, labor forecasting, and other Business Insights initiatives.
A successful candidate will also leverage technical skills (SQL, R, Python, Excel, Tableau, Power BI) to develop reporting, modeling, and data visualization around a wide array of Business Analytics projects and budgeting needs.
At the core of their skillset will be a transformative mindset, questioning/challenging the status quo and leveraging data and reporting to tell business stories about potential outcomes and investments as well as identifying key risks to the organization.
Key activities include the following Project lead & analysis for Pharmacy Workforce Management Ad-hoc data requests SQL development Data flow maintenance Problem/challenge identification and solving Additionally, this position will work on data automation and developing self-service solutions across the Operations teamRequired Qualifications 2
years experience with retail finance and budgeting processes 2
years experience with process improvement and project management 2
years experience working in analytics with a track record of delivering insights and business impact Preferred Qualifications 4
years experience with process improvement and project management 4
years experience with advanced analytic techniques, such as predictive modeling and Machine Learning methods Ability to influence leaders to change their thinking.
Self-directed, requires little oversight.
Explore, examine and interpret large volumes of data using advanced statistical techniques to help develop insights and recommendations Advanced level working with R and/or Python, Tableau, and Power BI.
Advanced skills using SQL (Teradata, Oracle, Snowflake, etc.
) and relational database concepts.
Build predictive models and machine learning applications with Python or PySpark Familiarity with MS Office Suite (queries, macros, forms), SharePoint, and MS Azure An interest and ability to dissect complex data systems to reconcile outputs and trace unexpected results.
Strategic, forward thinker; solution-driven, with sound analytical skills and ability to learn highly technical processes Ability to positively adapt in a changing environment Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Occasional travel may be required, based on business needs EducationBachelor's degree in Business Analytics or related field experiencePay RangeThe typical pay range for this role is$43,700.
00 - $107,200.
00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.
The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
