Position SummaryThe Executive Communications Manager will drive and execute an internal communications strategy focusing on CVS Health's vision to create a purpose-driven culture and to become the most consumer-centric health care company.
This position will play a critical role in leading our enterprise-wide consumer and colleague-centric communications strategy that helps to bring our vision to life for our 300,000
colleagues.
The successful candidate will partner closely with the Enterprise Consumer Experience and Enterprise HR Culture & Change Management teams, and colleagues across the Enterprise Communications team to ensure that our communications planning, design and execution across various initiatives align to our culture strategy and demonstrates our commitment to putting colleagues and consumers at the center of everything we do.
Through this role, you will help manage various purpose and culture communications and consumer-centric initiatives, including refining our core narrative, creating and executing on strategic communications plans and bringing best practice thinking and innovation to guide colleagues toward approaches that support our enterprise-wide strategy.
Responsibilities In partnership with the Executive Director, Communications, this role helps manage critical enterprise-wide communications to keep colleagues informed and engaged and drive our culture goals.
Contribute to the development of the annual Culture Communications Strategy and supports cross-functional communications activities and initiatives (e.
g.
, Helping With Heart, Employee Appreciation day, NPS goals, etc.
).
Develop and execute communication strategies to help colleagues and leaders understand how we are using the Net Promoter System, grounded in listening to the voice of the consumer and Helping With Heart, to ignite a culture of consumer-centricity.
Manage ongoing strategy and produce engaging messaging, content and assets focused on CVS Health's culture priorities and consumer centricity journey, including fireside chats, internal social posts, feature stories and employee spotlights on Heartbeat, milestone announcements and anniversaries and overall consumer storytelling.
Build relationships and serve as a trusted partner across the enterprise with various teams, including other areas of Enterprise Communications, Enterprise Consumer Experience, Enterprise HR Culture & Change Management, Enterprise Brand, Legal and Human Resources as well as external stakeholders such as agency partners and consultants.
Connects tactical communications activities to a high-level strategy to present a cohesive, engaging narrative to key audiences by understanding the unique needs of diverse internal audiences to show how the Helping With Heart Service Actions and Heart At Work Behaviors are embedded into our culture.
This is a hybrid role (3 days a week onsite) in one of the CVS Health or Aetna offices in NYC; Hartford, CT or Woonsocket, RI.
Required Qualifications 5
years Communications experience, which includes developing and executing communication plans, coordination of internal communication channels, writing a variety of content (e.
g.
, talking points, presentations, scripts and stories).

years experience writing Executive Communications 3
years experience working with Culture Communications Skilled in storytelling skills and expertise in culture and engagement strategies.
Ability to lead large-scale initiatives and highly complex projects with multiple stakeholders who have competing interests and viewpoints.
Ability to effectively deliver in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
Skilled in developing simple, creative programming for all internal channels including intranet, digital signage, newsletters, town halls and events.
Strong verbal communications skills with the ability to listen, articulate ideas and advocate best practice solutions for content and communications.
Strong writing skills with the ability to create various types of content including digital, long-form and talking points.
Preferred Qualifications Demonstrated ability to build relationships and collaborate with other professionals toward a common goal.
Skilled in connecting tactical communications activities to a high-level strategy to present a cohesive, engaging narrative to key audiences.
Skilled in collaborating and building relationships.
Strong attention to detail.
Education Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, English, Business or a related field.
Pay RangeThe typical pay range for this role is$63,300.
00 - $139,200.
00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.
The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
